Gator Greetings
Teachers had a fun day celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with their students doing Lucky Charm math, Rainbow Writing, and Seek and Find with the leprechaun. Many classes enjoyed the spring weather by going outside to read on their yoga mats. Our friends at the Broad Ripple Ice Cream Shop donated ice cream for the staff and everyone had a lucky snack as a mid-week pick-me-up. Thank you BRICS!!
Next week is disABILITY Awareness Week at Allisonville and we are very excited to be partnering with the Joseph Maley Foundation this year to celebrate Everybody Counts at Allisonville. Here are some of the amazing things that will be happening as we learn about inclusion of people with all abilities.
· Love on a Leash Service Dogs visit classrooms on Monday
· disABILITY Puppet Shows with grades K-4 on Tuesday
· Daily lessons and read alouds with a specific theme for each grade level
· Live Guest Speaker, Elliot Cox, during Friday’s Gator Gathering
· Cookies provided by No Label at The Table Bakery (PTO grant)
Also next week, mark your calendars for Family STEM Night on Thursday, March 24th from 6pm-7:30pm. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Our Math Coach, Mrs. Jones, along with Allisonville staff, have a fun and engaging night planned for families with many interactive experiments, investigations, explorations, prizes and more. The Book Fair will also be open for families to purchase different STEM books. You will not want to miss this fun night!
Students brought home their 3rd Quarter Report Cards today, so please be sure to check your child’s backpack. Our teachers are always here to talk with families, so please reach out if you have questions or concerns.
If you are a basketball fan like me, enjoy watching the NCAA March Madness games over the weekend and Go Boilers!

Students love using PebbleGo! It makes it easy to learn new information. There are features like videos and fun games to keep them engaged and learning. This is an ad-free website filled with resources to help children master many skills and learn fun facts about anything they are interested in.
Please explore PebbleGo with your child and let me know if you have questions or feedback.
