The Weekly Update
Week of 12/11/23
Hello all!
Can you believe we made it to the final week before Christmas break?! I know our house is certainly busy, but all good things! Remember to enjoy this season, even though you will be surrounded by more unmet expectations than you probably would like. I know that was me last night at my children's first Christmas pageant, when my son, dressed up as a cow, almost ended up in a fight with two other little cows on the stage, lol.
If you can think of ways to turn learning into a game this week, do it. I always found that made such a difference adding the extra step of making school more fun when my students were all keyed up for Christmas anyway. Please read over the information below carefully, and let me know if you have any questions. I hope you have a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!
Dates to Remember/Things to Do:
- December 18- January 5 - Christmas break, no school
- January 9-10 - LP4 Meetings
- Monday, January 15 - MLK day, no school
- Friday, January 19 - end of LP4, attendance due by noon
Ordering Update
Thank you so much for your patience with regards to any orders you may have placed that have not been approved yet. I will be taking care of those this week. Last week was pretty consumed with organizing the Entrepreneur Fair (hope to see more of you there next year!)
*If you have any Amazon Punchout orders, please submit those by this Thursday. If they are submitted over the break, they won't be approved by the deadline and will need to be resubmitted.
*If you have not done so, please submit any vendor orders for January by this Thursday as well. It will already be January when we return, so any vendor orders for January that are submitted over the break will be denied. Thank you so much for getting those submitted on time!
