Why Attendance is Important in Helping Every Student Succeed
One of the most important things your child can do to reach the goal of success is also one of the most basic: Attend School Every Day On Time!
By attending class regularly, your child is more likely to keep up with daily lessons and assignments and also take quizzes and tests on time. Research has shown that your child’s regular attendance may be the greatest factor influencing his/her academic success.
As always, thank you for your ongoing support of Gilbert High School!

2021 - 2022 Bell Schedules and School Calendar
Dear GHS Families,
As the end of the semester is quickly approaching, please take a moment to talk to your student about their end of semester assessments. Different classes have various final assessment methods and components, and some occur earlier in the semester than others. Make sure your students are talking to their teachers and checking Google Classroom so they are aware of these assessments. On December 15th - 17th, we will be running adjusted bell schedules to accommodate longer final assessment periods. Please review the bell schedule below with your student. Some portion of the final assessment will be administered during the periods that say "FINAL" on the schedule. Students are not permitted to take final exams early.
Thursday, December 16th and Friday, December 17th will be 11:20 Release Half Days.
