Full Day Every Day Kindergarten for a fee of $425 /month - this is dependent upon the number of registrations. Please register in Option 1 or Option 2 first and fill out a form indicating interest in Full Day Every Day.

The pre-Kindergarten program is a Catholic faith-infused, student-centered, purposeful play-based program within a literacy and numeracy-rich environment

TEACHER-LED PROGRAM

Our Pre-Kindergarten program supports all students to learn and grow.

The program is taught by a knowledgeable and caring certified teacher who strives to ensure all students enjoy their first school experience and are excited to work and learn with their friends.

Children must be 4 years old by December 31, 2023 (born in 2019).

Registration opens on February 1, 2023. The program will run based on sufficient enrollment. To register your child please go online

The Pre-K program will be integrated with the PUF program.

Mornings: Mon. Tues. -- Thurs. Friday 8:30 - 11:30

Afternoons: Mon. Tues. -- Thurs. Friday 12:30 - 3:30

Fee $250 per month.

We will have two programs in the school, both programs are under Elk Island Catholic Schools.

1. Regular Program ... Publically Funded Education

Pre - Kindergarten, Kindergarten and Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3 and Grade 4.

2. COGITO Academy ... Publically Funded Education

Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, and Grade 4.

If your child is in kindergarten, please make sure you are only ordering for the days your child is at school.

-If your child is going to be absent (except for school trips or functions) on the day of the hot lunch, please make arrangements that day for your child's hot lunch before 11:00 am by calling the school or emailing us at MADONNACSES@GMAIL.COM. All left over from Hot Lunch will be donated after 12:00 pm.

Complete the rest of the registration form. (Including your email address will ensure you receive reminder emails about hot lunch order deadlines, and your child's hot lunch order for the upcoming week)

Follow the instructions to add each child in your family who attends Madonna Catholic School

Once your child(ren) are registered, click on "Orders"

Proceed to order hot lunch for your child(ren)

Payments: We accept hot lunch order payments by Credit Card (Through BAMBORA)

The hot lunch online order system requires a small amount of setup time at the beginning as you must register each child you have attending our school prior to ordering hot lunch. Once the initial setup process is complete, your hot lunch orders for the remainder of the year should be quick and simple.

DEADLINE for ORDERING and PAYMENT for this cycle is Monday January 23rd, 2023.

WE STILL NEED

Hot Lunch Coordinator - Organizes all hot lunches. This is a well-organized event. Our current coordinator will be leaving in June, and would like to train someone so that the program can keep running next school year. ...Please note that Hot Lunch is not possible without the Hot Lunch Coordinator... we will not be able to have HOT lunch next year, unless someone is able to step into this role.

Co - Chair - Looking to train someone up in the chair position for one year prior to taking on the role of Chair.

These positions are available as children are moving on to higher grades and the parents will not be in the school any longer.

Did you know

• That the priests visit all classes regular basis.
• That Bend the Rules days support our Social Justice projects. To date raised over $1000 for Laurana Shelter. We will be supporting a Chalice Child in February this has been every year for 8 years now at $485/ year. Holy Child Association and Food Bank collection will be later this year.
• Academically -- Students begin to learn French in grade 4
• Students do drama in Readers Theater in the class and as a Flex Option ... these will be offered later this year.
• Flex Options allow time for students to develop STEM skills ... options begin in Feb.
• If your child has learning needs Mrs. Winunow will support you and your child
• Mrs. Norrie is our Family Wellness worker who supports students with their personal issues.
• Student mental health is supported by the leadership team and classroom team (Mrs. Antoniuik, Mrs. Winunow, and Mrs. Norrie)
• School Council has sponsored a number of students with hot lunch
• School Council is a parent, admin, and teacher advisory body and all parents can come to School Council meetings. You are considered a member. This is where you can give your ideas and support the school. Parents have a voice.
