Magnetism
Magnetism is the force for a magnet that attracts any material made of iron or contains iron.
Magnetic Poles
There are 2 types of poles on a magnet a North pole and a South pole.
Alike: Repel North to North and South to South
Unlike: Attract North to South and South to North.
Magnetism
Magnetic Field
A Magnetic Field is the magnetic effect of electric currents and magnetic materials.
Magnetic Domains
A magnetic domain is the region in which the magnetic fields of atoms are grouped together.
Magnetic Force
Magnetic Force is the attraction or repulsion that arises between electrically charged particles because of their motion.
Magnetic Field Lines
This shows magnetic field lines on a magnet.
Magnetic Domains
The example to the right shows a magnetized object.
The example to the left shows a demagnetized object.
Magnetic Force
This shows a magnetic force with two magnets interacting with each other.
