SI SE PUEDE MENTORING PROGRAM
Chandler High’s ELD (English Language Development) students have been inspired by Alberto Esparza and the Si Se Puede Foundation to give back to the community, and they have committed to tutoring students at Galveston Elementary. Last week the mentors and mentees had fun getting to know each other. They look forward to working with each other regularly!

Last Wednesday, the Treblemakers were featured on Fox 10. Check out their clip on the Fox 10 website!
Last week’s Winter Band Concert was an awesome showcase of tunes from Jazz Band, Concert Band/Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band and the CHS Symphony Orchestra. CORE VALUE HIGHLIGHT
CHS is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. The aim of all IB programs is to develop internationally-minded people who, recognizing their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet, help to create a better and more peaceful world.
IB learners are “Open-minded”. They understand and appreciate their own culture and personal histories, and are open to the perspectives, values and traditions of other individuals and communities. They seek and evaluate a range of points of view, and they are willing to grow from the experience.
