Study Tables After School
We want to make sure that parents know that some students are leaving school and heading to Wendy's or Krogers during this time. If a student does not stay for study tables, they are not permitted back in the building. We cannot have students coming and going as they please. It is my understanding that coaches have asked for students to stay in the building and attend study tables during this time. Please remind your student of these expectations.
Please Complete Your Emergency Medical Form
To start, go to the “PaySchools” website at https://pickerington.payschools.com.
If you have never created a PaySchools account, click “Registration” and follow the prompts. Be sure to create a “Parent” account, NOT “Student” account. If you already have an account, log in. If you don’t remember your password, click “Password Recovery.”
If you have just created an account (or don’t see your student listed) click on “Add Student”. You will then be asked to enter the student ID, and first and last name of each of your children. These names must be spelled exactly as they appear in Infinite Campus.
Once all students have been entered, choose “Enter Forms” to enter or update forms. You should see your student(s) in a blue box. Click the name of your student to begin or edit a form. Click “Fill Out Forms” to enter a form for the first time. Please note: Although it should not take a long time to complete forms, periodically you should click the “Save Progress” button on the right-hand side of the screen.
If you have previously entered a form and clicked “Sign and Submit,” you will see the form listed under the “Signed Programs” section. You can click on the pencil icon to review or update your information. You can click on the download arrow to download a copy of your completed form.
Fill out each section of the form completely. You will see a green check at the top of each section when you have entered all required information. When all sections have green check marks, click on “Save and Mark Complete.” Once you have clicked on that, click on “Sign Completed Forms.” Then, enter your initials and click “Submit Forms.”
Having difficulty? You may find this tutorial helpful. If you are still having difficulty, fill out a Help Desk ticket. Please understand that, given the volume of requests for assistance we receive at the start of the school year, it may take a couple business days for us to get in touch.
AM Drop Off...Stay in Line
1. Please stay over to the curb to drop off your student. If you are parking, then you may come around the drop off line. Cars parking should be the ONLY vehicles not driving along the curb.
2. When dropping off, please pull all of the way up to Mrs. Bertke, if you are the first car in line. We want students dropped off between Mrs. Bertke and the end of the building.
3. As students are dropped off, please continue in line until you get to Mrs. Bertke who will direct you down one of the lanes (this might be adjusted depending on bus locations up front).
4. The flow of traffic should be ONE continuous line. Currently, we have people pulling out in front of other cars, in front of buses, and going down all of the lanes. Please stay in line and create one continuous flow of traffic.
If we can all work together, things will go smoothly, more efficiently, and most importantly, everyone will be safe.
CommUNITY Fair
The goal of the event is to spotlight and celebrate the diversity within Pickerington by uniting our families and CommUNITY through educational opportunities, performances, games, and crafts. This fair provides an educational opportunity for our students, both to learn about other cultures and to share elements of their own heritage with others in the community.
PLSD believes it is an important part of our district mission to celebrate the rich diversity that exists within our community, to increase understanding, and to find ways for people of all cultures and backgrounds to feel included in Pickerington Schools. This year’s fair includes local Irish dancers, student performances, a fashion show, English Learners’ projects based learning activities, food trucks, and crafts and games from around the world!
