Mrs. Finch's Class News

Vol. 1, Issue 27

Week of May 2nd-6th, 2016

May is here and this is the home stretch. In these final weeks we have many more things to accomplish before we welcome summer. I personally can not think of ending this year just yet. This is a special group of kiddos and I will enjoy every last moment I have with them before they become third graders.

Please be sure to take note of the events in this newsletter so that you can make arrangements not to miss our end of the year fun.

Thank A Teacher

11:30—12:15—Watch IMAX film: Born to Be Wild. (There is limited seating available, so if you would like to watch the film with your child, please be sure to purchase a ticket ahead of time to avoid running out of seats.)

After IMAX film we will meet back out on the front lawn for a picnic lunch. We will have coolers to store sack lunches. However, the museum’s café will be open if you would like to purchase lunches there.

Once we are done with lunch, we will load buses and head back to school. You are more than welcome to have your child leave with you, but you must sign him/her out on the teacher’s sign out sheet.

Bringing a Bio Poem to Life

I am excited to say that I have been experimenting with the green screen this past week. I'm hoping to get more videos in production.
