FHS/RMS Moving to Electronic Report Cards
Dear Fraser Families,
We are excited to announce that moving forward we will be delivering report cards electronically for our students in grades 7-12. Report cards will no longer be mailed home.
Your student’s grades will be accessible in your secure PowerSchool Parent Portal account at the end of the school year.
The decision to transition to electronic report cards was made for several reasons. First, the district is committed to reducing the amount of paper we use. Also, this will allow families immediate access to final grades as soon as they are posted. Finally, there is a significant amount of time and resources spent on printing and mailing report cards, and a number of them end up returned to us because we don’t have the most up-to-date address on file.
We will send additional communication when grades are available in June.
If you do not have a Parent Portal account set up at this time, a separate email will be sent within the next week with instructions to create one.
Thank you for your continued support,
Kristin Ledford
Director of Communications
Dress Code Reminders
Common sense and propriety are the basic guidelines to determine appropriate dress for the student. Most forms of dress are acceptable for students as long as they are neat and clean, or are required in observance of religious customs, and do not interfere with the educational process. We rely on the good taste and judgment of the students and the responsibility of the parents to advise their children of the appropriate dress in accordance with the School District Dress Code policy. As the weather gets warmer, please check out the following:
- Bare midriff tops, halters, revealing tops, tank tops, muscle shirts, mesh clothing, see-through clothing, blouses or shirts with string type straps.
- Shorts, skirts and dresses shorter than the tip of the student’s index finger when arms are hanging down.
If students violate the dress code policy they will be asked to correct the issue or will have to be picked up from school. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Students After School
In order to provide a safe environment, we are asking that all students are in the appropriate place after school.
- Students who have practice need to be with a coach. Students should not plan on staying at school until practice starts.
- Credit Recovery ends at 3:30pm and students are required to leave the building afterwards.
- Students can wait for rides until 3:30pm in the Media Center. After 3:30pm students will be asked to wait at the main entrance for their rides, if they are found wandering the building they will be asked to leave.
- If students are not participating in extracurricular activities, they cannot be in the Athletic Wing after school.
- If students plan on coming to an after-school activity, they should plan on leaving the school and coming back at the start of the event.
We appreciate everyone’s efforts in making the focus of school be on learning in a safe environment. If you have any questions of concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
FHS Yearbook
The 2022 Rambler Yearbooks are in production and on the way but will most likely arrive after our last day. The yearbooks staff apologizes for the delay. For our Seniors we have special autograph sections that they can have now to collect signatures from their friends, then add to their book once it arrives. For our underclassmen, remote students, and seniors too, we have Special Digital Signing Pages available to collect signatures from classmates. Students should check their email for directions on how to do the Digital Signatures.
Seniors pick up your special signature section on Monday and Tuesday May 23 & 24 in all Lunches. Every Senior gets a signature section whether they ordered a yearbook or not.
The class composite will be available at that time as well. You get a class composite if you are on it. People on the composite had their photo taken a Sieloff studios or took a photo to Sieloff to be included.
The yearbook itself is almost sold out.
There are only 75 books that are not spoken for. Order now online through Jostens or cash or check payable to Fraser High School to room 1800 after school. Books are currently $75
Please email with any questions to: yearbook@fraserk12.org
