From Our School Counselor:
We have finished Habit 1- PROACTIVE and will now focus on Habit 2- BEGIN WITH THE END IN MIND. Students will discuss what it means to begin with the end in mind, make goals for the future, and discuss how their actions have consequences for the future. Please continue to have these conversations at home with your student. Help your student to make attainable and realistic goals. Maybe your student is struggling behaviorally or with a certain subject and needs some motivation. Create a goal to encourage your student to push a little harder then reward your student when their goal is met. Thank you so much for being involved with your students education and future!
Parents, I am asking for donations of POPSICLES! Each class will set a classroom goal based on the 7 Habits of Happy Kids and if they reach their goal, they will be rewarded with a popsicle and pride buck! Please donate the NONFROZEN popsicles that are in the long clear packaging. These popsicles will be easier to store then freeze when needed. Thank you so much for you help!
Running Club:
Informational meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 3rd @ 3:15 in Mrs. Lauterbach's class.
To join running club each student will have to participate in a 1 mile/5k race outside of school. All races will have an entrance fee.
Parent contract will have to be signed in order for students to participate.
First running club meeting will be Tuesday, October 10 @ 3:10. Contract must be filled out to participate.
