Social Media
Social media is the 21st century's way of knowing what’s all going on in the world and it sure is taking a toll on all ages, especially younger children. Younger children now and days think it’s okay for them to post all of their personal information online, and think it okay that it won’t affect them in the future, but they are wrong posting any personal business online is a way for people to see it and it will always be in the data base, people know all your dislikes, likes, and even know what your currently doing or did in the past because of what you post, not only that but it can affect you in the long run especially when it’s time for you to get a job, and you may not get the job because of what you posted in the past, and when you can’t get a job to support your family it'll lead to more issues along the way. You get stressed out, depressed, start drinking, smoking or even start to use drugs, which then can lead to child abuse ! At least five children die everyday because of it, and in the United States, more than four children die from child abuse and are neglected on a daily basis. Over seventy percent of these children are below the age of three. How is child abuse being addressed ? Many people have showed it through social media, movies, shows, and even commercials. They are arising awareness by having fundraisers for the children that get abused whether it be physically or emotionally.
Just think ten years from now how are our children going to be when they grow up ? will they be even stupider than today's society or will they try their hardest not to get sucked into the media in ten years ? I can only image how advanced the technology will be in the future and of course it'll have is pros and cons. Then we will really have to be careful on what to say or not to say, because by then who knows they may have it where you can update what your doing just by walking outside your front door.

The new generation is all about social media and looking a certain way. If you don't have the latest fashion trends, or the latest and greatest car, and or house then your considered basic. Why spend unnecessary money on what makes other people happy? People are trying to fit in and will take any costs to make that possible, whether it'd be plastic surgery or spend their paycheck on the latest car model. Not only are that but people also interested in your life. They want to know when you’re happy or when you’re having a bad day. Especially celebrities. Dramaaa is like the icing on the cake for many people, and some of the things they say about them are not even true, which can then lead to depression and or suicide. Now heading over to the younger crowd, children and teenagers are like sponges we soak everything up. Like music for example all the negative rap songs about doing drugs and having sex, and jumping from girl to girl does not help our society grow what so ever. It only makes it worse. Giving younger minds that it is okay for younger men to treat their mother or their girlfriend with disrespect because the rappers are talking about it and or doing it. Is not the message we want to deliver. Same with girls being hoes it is making it seem okay for younger girls to go out and hook up with every other guy because that’s what the new thing is in songs and what not, and they are making themselves have no self-worth and look just plain old trashy. Social media is taking a toll on that as well because they post pictures and status about females and making them seem low and clearly have no respect for them, and the younger minds are growing up to think that it is okay to do that. The world is feeding into social media and everyone is connected whether you think you are or not. Even when you search something up online millions of things come up and you won’t ever know which one is the true source unless you know what exactly to look up, not to forget whatever you post online it will always be in the computers database, and that can prevent you from gaining or losing a job. You have to be careful of what you post, because some people now are regretting what they have posted from back in the day, and like I said before everyone knows what you have or what you are doing if you post it on social media, and you don’t want it to reflect on how people see you as an individual or let it reflect on how your peers see you as a person. Moving on to another example in the link below is talking about the latest drama about celebrities and what they are doing with their lives and where did they get this information from? SOCIAL MEDIA !
The Holocaust
How would you feel if you were taken away from your home and or separated from your family members and watched everything you ever loved be taken away from you within a blink of an eye. What these people went through was complete torture. By 1945 the Germans and their gang killed nearly two out of every three European Jews as a part of the final solution. The policy to murder the Jews of Europe, but many of them were mentally, physically disabled people who were living in an environment with non-livable conditions, which made the people sick, they wouldn’t give them food, no water made them work in the hot heat, and beat them like wild animals. The Jews were getting weaker and weaker their bodies started to break down and soon become ill due to lack of nutrition. The German people had no self-concussion on what they were doing to these poor incent people. So the ones that were tired of seeing the ones they loved or had some type of relationship with keep getting hurt or dead. Rose up as a collective to stop the torture among themselves and everyone else they needed to try to figure out what they could do to get away from the Germans and they soon did. The uprising begins.
The Holocaust, also known as the Shoah, was a genocide in which Adolf Hitler's Nazi Germany and its collaborators killed about six million Jews. In the mid-1940s-1943 about 100 ghettos in Nazi occupied Eastern Europe, they wanted to be able to organize the uprisings, break out of the ghettos and join partisan so that they could fight against the Germans. Even though only a few of them actually succeeded in escaping so that they could join the partisans, and of course some resisted. Then the Germans began to deport the ghetto populations which then led to an uprising before the final destruction of the ghetto in September 1943. Majority of these ghetto fighters were young men and women who died for what they believed in. The Warsaw ghetto uprising was the largest conflict by Jews. Tons of Jews fought the Germans and refused to obey their orders, and as a result the Nazis burned the ghetto to the ground and made them come out (Copyright © United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, Washington, DC). Now moving on to the resistance camps, the surviving Jewish workers launched uprisings even in some extermination camp, and about a thousand Jews participated in the revolt, some even seized what weapons where available to them like what we would use around the house to do yard work with. For example picks, & axes, and only a handful of them escaped from these camps, but for the others they were captured and kilt. Despite being vastly outgunned and outnumbered, some Jews in ghettos and camps did resist the Germans with force. The spirit of these efforts transcends their failure to halt the genocidal policies of the Nazis. (Holocaust Memorial Muse, Washington, DC).
Now this is similar and different to the book 1984 because the people are listening to one person, and they are restricted on what they can and can’t do and have lots of rules and regulations among themselves that they have to follow.

Have you heard of "Dragon" of the white supremacist group known as the KKK (Ku Klux Klan), gave his thought on which presidential candidate he viewed should win the election, and that happened to be Republican Donald Trump. Most people viewed this as odd and unacceptable.someone with particular views would vote for someone like Donald Trump, most people thought that he chose Donald Trump because he thought he shared most of the same views and supporters, and wanted to get a better understanding of his opinion. Whether he does the right thing and instinctively says "No, I will not allow someone with his views and supporters support his way of doing things or says "Yes, I believe he is well aware of what goes on in society and may or may not agree. In order to get his understanding on the issue CNN's Jake Tapper interviewed Donald, and asked him what did he think of the former kkk leader and why do you think he would want to support you ? how did you get him to route for you ? To which Trump responded "I don't know, did he endorse me or what's going on, I don't know anything about David Duke and i know nothing of the white supremacists, but we all know of the kkk clan and what its mission is and what they think about other people, and you mean to tell me that he had nothing to do with David Duke having his support, but we clearly have evidence ..Endorsement?"Trump: "I don’t know the answer to the first. Who knows why? But I don’t need his endorsement. I certainly wouldn’t want his endorsement. I don’t
need anybody’s endorsement. I’m not looking for…"
Heinemann: "Would you repudiate David Duke?"Trump: "Sure, I would do that. I would certainly repudiate. I don’t know anything about him. Somebody told me yesterday, whoever he is, he did endorse me, and actually i don't know
whoever he is, he did endorse me. And actually I don’t think it was an
endorsement. He said I was absolutely the best of all the candidates. But I
wouldn’t want him … didnt Trump say he wanted to make America, America again ?
This shows how Donald is and how he lies about the truth, and apparently a common thing for most presidential nominees as most aren't as truthful as they should be, but you have to think as well if you want something really bad you will do any and everything to get what you want no matter how many lies you tell.

Our society has become so dependent on technology that we wouldn't be able to function without it, every time I got out in public 90 percent of the time I see people on their phones and when I see that I think of how absorbed we are into technology, and how technology is running our lives. Even children as early as 2 are learning how to play and use electronic devices. What can we do so technology doesn’t take over us completely? We should make more time to spend with our families, because life is too short. Family time is very important because you never know when you’re going to leave this world and you want to make sure you leave this world knowing you fulfilled what you wanted to do but also making memories are important as well. Now there are upsides to the advances in technology. Like people being able to search for anything they want. Having easier access to information and it can help by letting others know when something is going on in the world, because everyone is so connected with the world but we need to learn how to balance technology with other things in life. There are more important things in the world then technology.
