What Are Friends?
Some of My Friends♥
Maddie and I have been friends since way back in 1st grade. I have other friends like Natalie. She’s new this year. One day I noticed she was wearing a Fall Out Boy shirt. I absolutely adore them, so I complimented her shirt. It turns out Natalie and I like a lot of the same bands, and she even showed me some new ones. I met Kaitlin in 5th grade. Funny story, actually. Her and I went to different schools. In 5th grade, you could sign up for basketball. So during one of the basketball games, I was guarding this girl. She was chewing gum, and without thinking I said "You smell like mint." She laughed and we were basically chatting for the rest of the game. Starting 6th grade, there were lots of new people to meet. In an attempt to make many new friends, I met Lola. Lola is a very outgoing person, she’s literally friends with everyone. I can tell her anything. In the 2nd quarter of 6th grade, there was a new student. Rialey, was her name. Rialey was in my science class. I tried introducing myself, but when she didn’t really talk to me I felt as if she didn’t like me. 7th grade is when we really became friends, because we were in the same advisory. We both like a lot of the same things, after you get to know her, she’s really fun to talk to.
Memories♥
Thinking back on my favorite memories, most of them are with my friends. Like getting picked up from school in a limo and going skating, going to Mount Olympus with my friend Rachel. Back in October, I had the opportunity to go to the Haunted Forest with my friend Natalie. It’s especially fun when my one of my friends have a birthday party, like at Rialey’s party when we made tie-dye shirts and ended up dying our hands blue! I love spending time with my friends. Though there are so many more people I could talk about and many fun memories I would love to share, I think it’s best I wrap it up. My friends mean so much to me, and hold a very special place in my heart. They stick by me under any and all circumstances. When I am sad, they cheer me up. When I need someone to talk to, they listen. I couldn’t ask for better friends.
