About College Experiences
AHHS invited alumni to come back and speak to interested freshman-seniors. The alumni provided advice on making the transition from high school to college smoother, shared tips that they have learned as college students, and took part in an informal question and answer session. Academic Advisor, Davina VanderPal, organized the event. She said, “Alumni can be a powerful tool in connecting current students to college. I am thankful that our graduates are willing to come back and help current students think about their futures.”
