Pine Road Grows Great Kids

- A MESSAGE FROM MR. COLE-

Dear Pine Road Families,

As we settle into the flow of the 2020-2021 school year, it is crucial that we take some time to reflect. Our students are getting established with their new teachers (both virtually and hybrid), and our new routines are being established. Now more than ever, it is essential that these first days of school be spent developing positive classroom culture and ensuring that each student is prepared for academic, social, and emotional success in an unprecedented educational landscape.

I want to reiterate the importance of patience and grace as we navigate the start of this school year. Creating new systems has always been a challenging process that will naturally have stumbles along the way for all members of our school community. When combined with the backdrop of an ongoing pandemic, it becomes essential that we practice patience and grace with all members of the school community as we improve our systems and offer a top-notch education for our students!

Lastly, I want to commend our fantastic students! We have asked our students to take on immense responsibilities and adjust how they participate in their learning, To say I have been impressed would be a gross understatement! Our students have shown a passion for learning and resiliency that is remarkable. Thank you to our families for continuing to support our students in this unusual time.

I wish everyone an excellent rest of the month and a successful school year ahead.

Sincerely,

Scott Cole

Principal
