All Things Baker!
Principal's Message!
Thank you for another strong week of eLearning and dedication to the success of our kiddos! Although we have settled into this new routine, I know this is not easy for anyone. I was walking to my car last week and I heard off in the distance, "Hi Mrs. Wallace!" After I fought off the urge to run over and hug them so hard, I waved and got in my car. On my drive home, I may or may not have cried a little or a lot! This entire situation is just so hard for everyone for a variety of reasons. I have to keep telling you all how proud I am of the families, the teachers, and the kiddos! You have pulled together, helped each other, supported each other, and loved each other! So, while this if far from what we want, I have to believe we will be so much stronger, more understanding, more patient, and more filled with grace when we return to what is waiting for us!
Over the next couple of weeks, we will be sending out information about how we will return items to your kiddos and how we will collect chromebooks and library books. Please do not worry about any of that, we will make sure that it all goes smoothly. There will be a district-wide plan.
Please continue to reach out with any concerns or questions and we will continue to reach out with any updates and/or information! Please remember, at Baker Elementary we believe In a World Where You Can Be Anything . . . Be Kind!
Miss you all more than words!
Danielle Wallace
