Ms. Phillips

Hello everyone! I was born and raised here in Montgomery, Alabama. I have always had a passion to serve and to be a leader in my community. Ever since I was a child it was instilled in me that we are not just here for ourselves but to lookout and support one another. I believe in the value of education and what it means for the growth and development of our future young minds & generation leaders.

I have been in the educational & nonprofit field for over 10+ years in both public and private sectors. I went to Auburn University Montgomery where I received my B.S. in Psychology with a specialization in Child & Family. I also have a degree in Ed. with a specialization in Early Childhood. I’m currently in the process of completing my Masters of Social Work. I am also certified in Nonprofit Management and Development from the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance. I have always believed in being not just an educator but also a community advocate.

I come from a family of educators, professors, & community activists. I am proud to follow in their footsteps and make my own mark among our community and most importantly our leaders of tomorrow.
