The State of the Arts
The Digital Quarterly Publication of the Fine Arts of PCSD
Happy Spring!
What a wonderful semester we have had so far with #pauldingfinearts. Our students have made their way through competitions, trips performing all over the globe, sharing their artwork on the national stage, and more. I hope you will find this issue of our quarterly publication, The State of the Arts, to be informative and engaging as you look ahead to the coming months that wrap up this great school year!
As with our other publications this year, you will find 5 columns (one for each cluster of schools) and then a 6th column specifically dedicated to the key events and performances that are open to the public in the coming days.
As always, we hope you will take the time to come and see what our students are up to! I always talk about the amazing talent we have right here in our own community and I am not kidding! Come to one of the many events or performances this spring and be encouraged and blessed by our students, their teachers/directors, and the mission IN ACTION of the Paulding County School District!
Engage. Inspire. Prepare.

Special Events Column
Many times, our readership will go directly to their cluster of schools but this year, we thought you might like to have all the details of performances and events in one place in our publication each quarter.
We hope this column will help you know where you need to be to catch all of the great fine and performing arts events in Paulding County School District!
Katie O. Anderson
My name is Katie Anderson and I am the Fine Arts Coordinator for the Paulding County School District. It is with great pleasure that I can say the Fine and Performing Arts of PCSD are alive and well! Our students and teachers are doing great things every single day in the classroom, on football fields, in practice rooms, in art studios and galleries, in colleges and universities, in recording studios, and on stages within our own communities and across the nation!
Join us in celebrating this amazing collection of talent! Take some time this school year to visit a school play or attend one of our many art shows, concerts, competitions, band exhibitions, choral festivals, or even a fine arts classroom near you.
