It's hard to believe that we are already into the month of May! As the end of the school year nears, things begin to feel a little extra busy. We try our best to maintain structure and routine at school so that our students continue to thrive each day. 5/8 - Bike Rodeo - Grade 2-5, sponsored by: Everybody Bikes

• students will learn safety tips, rules of the road and proper helmet fitting
• students are encouraged to bring their own bike and helmet, if possible. There will be some bikes available so that all students can participate
• schedule is as follows: 5th grade: 8:40-9:20/2nd grade: 10:40-11:20/4th grade: 1:00-1:40 and 3rd grade: 1:45-2:25. Feel free to join us for biking fun!

In the next few weeks, your child's educational team will be working on class placement for the 2019-2020 school year. This process is complex and factors in many variables. Our goal is to place your child in a classroom that she/he can grow and develop. We also aim to build classes that are balanced with strengths, personalities, areas for growth, gender and need. All of our teachers our outstanding at meeting the needs of all children in a classroom and we also recognize that families sometimes like to share insights with our team. While we do not typically ask for feedback from families on specific teacher requests, I do welcome feedback regarding the learning environment that you feel your child would thrive best.
