NEWS AROUND THE DISTRICT
i Register March 4 VBC North Hall
Students and parents are invited to the 3rd Annual iRegister Event on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Von Braun Center North Hall from 10:00 am– 2:00 pm. The purpose of this event is to provide our rising middle and high school students and parents with a variety of information and resources related to course selection (AP/Honors, Career Academies, extracurricular programs, etc.), academic success strategies, college and career opportunities and community resources. Our theme for iRegister 2017 is Explore: College, Career, and Community. Huntsville City Schools continues to encourage students to “explore” their options to becoming college and career ready as well as learning about community resources that support students and families. In addition, several programs and departments from HCS will be on hand to provide support and answer questions (InfoSnap, Durham transportation, Magnet programs, School Readiness/Pre-K, etc.).
