Photosynthesis and cell respiration
photosynthesis and cellular respiration depend on one other to keep plants alive. Without photosynthesis, cellular respiration could not get the energy it needs. These two together create a never ending cycle.
How it works
Photosynthesis captures sunlight to create sugars in the chloroplasts, and this sugar is where the plants get its energy from. Once photosynthesis has done its job, it stores this sugar and the Mitochondria breaks down this sugar to release energy. Once this energy is released then cellular respiration can give off water and carbon dioxide for photosynthesis.
