Our Collective Commitment Corner

What a wonderful week filled with learning...for students and us alike! A special shout-out to our BLC for creating such a solid foundation as we move forward in our commitment to our students, to one another, and to ourselves!

On Tuesday, September 17th and Thursday, September 19th we’ll be moving into our second cross-curricular sessions during which groups will finalize the “why” as tied to our instructional framework. Once the groundwork for our collective commitment is set, groups will immerse themselves in reflective conversations surrounding our practice and our student work.

Please know that these teams will be meeting on non-PLC weeks and that our next PLC date is set for Wednesday, September 25th.

Upcoming First Semester Cross-Curricular Dates:

September 17th and 19th

October 1st and 3rd

October 15th and 17th

November 12th and 14th

November 19th and 21st

December 3rd and 5th

December 17th and 19th

At the essence of our joint efforts is student success and a celebration of our own professional practices. Below you’ll find work from throughout our school plus hyperlinks for our practices.

Have a wonderful weekend. Go Pirates!!

We want to know what is happening 'on the ship'.

Please send stories and pictures of classroom/club/sporting events. When something happens or you have a great story to share, please send a brief description and a couple of pictures to Suzanne Frame.

Have a student or manager that can take care of that for you? Have them email the pics and story to Suzanne.
