Information Technology
Resource for all your IT needs.
A note from the desk of Gerri Moore, IT Director
We look forward to working with you if you need technology assistance.
PowerSchool
Powerschool is best accessed via a website such as Chrome or Firefox. Once you login to powerschool, you will be able to complete action items including submitting medical forms, acknowledging Code of Conduct and Covid forms, and making online payments.
Schoology
It also enables our students, parents and teachers to engage with learning materials and their school community from the classroom and beyond.
Seesaw
Seesaw is currently being used in our Kindergarten through fourth-grade classrooms. With the help of Seesaw, teachers empower students to create, reflect, share, and collaborate. Students “show what they know” using photos, videos, drawings, text, PDFs, and links.
While your child logs into Seesaw in the classroom, we encourage families to follow along with your child’s learning by creating a family account and using the Seesaw for Families App.
AGCS is committed to our students becoming strong digital citizens.
We're committed to preparing students to be successful citizens in our globalized and technical world. We recognize the importance of partnering with families to ensure that our students are educated, informed, safe digital learners. We provide our students with consistent digital citizenship education and training.
AGCS students in grades K-12 will take part in classroom lessons from the common sense education® K–12 Digital Citizenship Curriculum. This curriculum is designed to educate and guide students to harness the power of the Internet and digital tools so they can become safe, responsible, and respectful digital citizens.
Digital citizenship should not, and can not, just take place during these isolated events. AGCS Teachers actively seek opportunities within the normal course of all of their classes to work with students on how to be safe, digital natives.
Parents and guardians interested in learning more about how tech will play a role in your child's school life can visit the common sense media Back to School resource center.
