April 5th: Favianna Rodriguez: Art as Activism
Favianna Rodriguez is an Afro-Peruvian American transnational artist and cultural organizer from Oakland, California. She uses her perspective as a child of migrant workers growing up in a high crime area to forge her identity as a feminist and activist.

April 6th: Dinner Discussion with Dan-el Padilla Peralta- RSVP required
Join us for an informal conversation with Prof. Dan-el Padilla Peralta, Princeton alumnus and incoming faculty member in the Classics department.
Dan-el is the author of "Undocumented: A Dominican Boy’s Odyssey From a Homeless Shelter to the Ivy League."
FREE copies of his memoir will be given out to the first few guests who come to dinner.

April 7th: Second 7-Eleven Protest
The fight against wage theft continues this April 7th from 6-8 pm as community members and Dream Team members gather to protest in front of the 7-eleven located on Nassau Street. For more information, please click here. The event was shared to us through the Latin American Legal and Education Fund (LALDEF).
April 13th: An Evening with Jose Antonio Vargas
Jose Antonio Vargas is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, filmmaker, and media publisher whose work centers on the changing American identity. He is the founder of Define American, a non-profit media and culture organization that seeks to elevate the conversation around immigration and citizenship in America; and the founder and editor of #EmergingUS, a digital platform that lives at the intersection of race, immigration, and identity in a multicultural America. #EmergingUS is the first-ever media property owned by an undocumented immigrant.
