4th Grade Newsletter

Miss Fletcher & Mrs. Wiley

Week of April 28th Important News and Updates

Happy Monday!

First Mrs. Wiley and myself would like to take a moment to thank all of you so much for making Teacher Appreciation Week memorable and amazing. Thank you for the class and individual gits that we received. The flowers that you sent are still blooming and we will cherish the sweet notes that your children wrote for us long after the La Croix and Diet Coke are gone. We consider ourselves to be extremely blessed to have the chance to work with your children on a daily basis. Thank you again for a wonderful week!

This week in 4th grade we are launching our two week SURVIVOR camp. This camp is designed to help encourage good behavior, teamwork, and work ethic as the school year winds down. Each 4th grade homeroom is a team, and through the day the team will earn points for things like turning in homework, having their red folder signed, and being respectful. Before specials each day, we will take the students outside (weather permitting) and compete in a challenge. Each day will be a different challenge, and students can win points for their team. At the end of the two weeks, the team with the most points will be awarded the immunity tiki and will be named the 4th grade ultimate survivors! Ask the students when they come home today about the team challenge!

This week I (Miss Fletcher) will be out on Thursday to close on my house. Please email Mrs. Wiley with any change of dismissal procedures. There is no school on Friday, May 29th!
