As we navigate our new reality, FHS Student Government and SAC wanted a way to give something to families with children in our community to help them celebrate and learn about May's holidays and events. With the help of our school librarian, Ms. Courchesne, students from the National Honor Society, and premade pages from other educators around the globe, we bring you books celebrating Cinco de Mayo, Teacher Appreciation, Mother's Day, Memorial Day and more!
Enjoy this month's holidays and celebrations with our Read-Alouds: Click the image below to access the bookshelves
May is also NF Awareness Month!
Please check out the following resources from the Children's Tumor Foundation to learn about Neurofibromatosis (NF).
NF is a genetic condition causing tumors to grow along the nerves in the body. There is currently no cure for NF, but please learn more about it so that we can continue to spread awareness to help those who are also living with this condition.
Mrs. Abreu and her Family
Mrs. Abreu's husband is currently one of many living with NF2.

In case you missed it...
This project began before the winter holidays, with the hope that we could provide families with books and stories to read over break. Feel free to take a look at where we started in December, as well as what we had sent out in February, March and April.
Share a book for May or June with us!
Please feel free to share your own read-alouds with us for May or June. Click on the image below to check out information pertaining to how to send in a Read-Aloud. This will include the topics for those months, recommendations for how to turn any book into a Read Aloud and a link to a Google Form to submit a completed Read Aloud.
Feedback
We always appreciate hearing about how we're doing and what we can do to improve. Please fill out the following survey to provide us feedback and include some things you might want to see in slideshows in the coming months! Click the image below to leave us your thoughts.
Our Hope
Our hope is to continue to bring these to our Framingham families, so if you would like to join us in adding a book to the collection in the future, please feel free to email one of us. You can find our contact information listed below.
