Swift - Slaybaugh Complex

Principal's Message
Dear Swift-Slaybaugh Families,
As you know, we have managed to return to a sense of normalcy at school as luckily, Covid has greatly subsided. However, we are still asking for your help in keeping all our students in good health. Although it is late this year, flu season is here and we are trying to avoid the spread of it as much as possible in school. Many students are coming to school sick and sharing their germs with others. Please do not send your child to school if they have the following symptoms:
-Persistent cough
-Persistent runny nose
-Fever
-Vomiting and/or diarrhea
-Abdominal pain
-Contagious diseases like rashes
-Conjunctivitis (pink eye)
A minimum of 24 hours without a fever, diarrhea or vomiting (without medication) should pass before your child returns to school.
We appreciate your help with this, as our goal is to keep our students safe and healthy and in school as much as possible. We have 9 more days of school until Spring Break, and we plan to make them productive before everyone gets some time to rest and rejuvenate. As always, do not hesitate to reach out to me should you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Joe Marinelli
Principal
