National Influenza Vaccination Week is December 6-12

National Influenza Vaccination Week is a call to all Americans 6 months and older to get their annual flu vaccine if they have not already. Since COVID-19 and flu could spread simultaneously this winter, this week will serve to remind people that there is still time to get a flu vaccine to protect against flu illness and serious flu complications, such as worsening of chronic conditions or pneumonia, for example. #SleeveUp

New CDC Quarantine Options

CCA administration is aware of new CDC quarantine options and is working with Public Health to review these options in regards to the length of time to quarantine. The CCA School Board will review administration recommendations for any changes with CCA quarantine protocol at the December 16 regular school board meeting. There are no changes at this time to CCA quarantine guidelines.

Optional Assignment - Cardboard Challenge

While learning from home, Ms. Winder gaver her students a challenge to create something using only cardboard (tape and coloring were permitted). The challenge gave the students some off screen time using Engineering Design Process and their imaginations.
