Elf owls are the smallest species of owl in the Sonoran Desert. They live in a small variety of places, including California, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Mexico, and Guatemala.

Snowy Owls

Snowy owls live in North America in the states Washington, Oregon, Montana, North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kansas, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Massachusetts, Vermont, Rhode Island ,Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware , Washington D.C., New Hampshire, Maine, and Florida

Snowy Owls Meals

The snowy owls hunt in the day or the night. The snowy owl usually eats mouse-like rodents, but if the food supply is low the owl can go after animals as big as foxes. This bird as much as weigh 3.5 to 4.4 lbs!
