Registration Time Line
- Feb 14- 5:30-7 PM- Class Registration Fair in ACHS Commons (BCC and WATC tables set up for questions)
- Feb 15- Students will receive enrollment information transcripts with online registration directions and course offering sheets) and work on their registration and Individual Plan of Study (IPS) during RAMP time.
- Feb 21-23- Counselors will meet with students individually during their English classes.
- Feb 21- 5-8 Parent Teacher Conferences
- Feb 14-26- On-line class registration
- July- Schedules will be mailed home.
Online Registration is February 14-26. Use PowerSchool to Register.

Junior Required Classes
- English 3 or AP Language and Composition
- Math
- Science
- US History/AP History
- 3 credits of electives
*AP Lang has a summer assignment.
Class Registration Fair Feb 14 5:30-7
Butler Community College and WATC will both have tables set up during the registration fair if you want to ask questions about the Butler Academies or WATC programs.
Schedule Changes
The 3 C's: One students Commit, and they are Capable, we suggest they Continue in a class.

College Credit Options
Half Day Programs: Butler Academies and WATC JumpStart
Concurrent Credit: These meet at ACHS and the instructor is an ACHS staff member usually. We offer English Comp 1 and 2 (senior English), speech, college algebra, applied statistics, and government.
Dual Credit: These meet on Butler's campus
Steps for Taking College Credit Classes
1. Students need college entrance scores. Students must able to attain these scores in order to continue on the dual or concurrent credit path.
ACT- 18 on English (or cumulative 3.25+ GPA) and/or 21 on Math
Accuplacer Test- Community college/vocational placement test.
2. If using ACT scores, students must complete college admissions application.
3. Visit with your counselor and fill out a High School Release Form.

What is Kansas Qualified Admissions?
Five of the six state universities in Kansas, including Emporia State University, Fort Hays State University, Kansas State University, Pittsburg State University, and Wichita State University, use set standards to review applicants for undergraduate admission. The University of Kansas has different admission standards from those listed below, visit admissions.ku.edu for more information. Standards are set by the Kansas Board of Regents.
