Principal's Newsletter

From the Desk of Ms. Clark

May 6, 2021

Dear Parents,

Tomorrow is the day! Our Virtual #ProudToBeSKD Gala will begin at 7pm. Because of all of you, so many initiatives have been introduced and successfully implemented in our school, and we continue to make our school the best in Bucks County.

As you know, Saint Katharine Drexel Catholic School is a special place. Joined together by our two legacy schools- Assumption BVM and Saint Bede- we have just celebrated our ninth year as Saint Katharine Drexel Catholic School.

Our school is the center of academic excellence, but more importantly we are center for evangelization. We will prepare our students for college and careers, but also for their final destination- heaven- because we know in the end it’s not our material possessions but how we lived for Christ that will define us. At SKD, we take pride in the fact that we are forming Catholic leaders for life. We are committed to educating, engaging, and inspiring our students each and every day.

On behalf of our entire school community, I thank YOU. I encourage your active involvement to engage in the mission of Catholic education. Sharing the light of Christ with our children will build a stronger next generation of Catholics who in turn will share their light with the world. Together let us make disciples of our children. Together let us spread the light of Christ in the community. Together let us carry out the mission of the universal church and help form our future Catholic leaders!

Finally, I need to acknowledge two very important people who led the planning of this wonderful evening- Mrs. Erin Vizza and Mrs. Bridget Badolato- our Chairpersons for this event. For over two years, they have worked tirelessly with their other committed members to make this night possible.

May God bless you and your families, and please be assured of our continued prayers for you! Enjoy your night and let the highest bidder win!

God's blessings,

Ms. Clark

REVISED Symptom Screening Tool

All parents are primarily responsible for monitoring the health of their children. While it is our intention to remain open for the entire school year, parents are expected to do their part and keep their children home when they are sick.

Please see below for the “Revised” Symptom Monitor Checklist which is to be completed each day. By sending your child to school, you are confirming that you have completed this health screening.
