Library News
September Edition
Events
We are off to a great start! All grade level ELA classes had their first library visit for the school year. Each grade level completed the "To Read Next List." Using the online catalog, students selected a possible title for eight different genres, will chart each title they read, indicate if they finished the book, number of pages read, and will rate the book. Sixth grade social studies completed the population station activity. Students rotated through stations and analyzed expository texts, charts and maps. Sixth grade GT classes learned how to access the databases and why databases are better to use for research over search engines.
