Thank you, Nurse Jones!

Miss Nagode's students have been learning about gratitude. For Nurse Appreciation week, the students in Miss Nagode's class decorated boxes to collect notes for Nurse Jone. Students throughout the Middle School, in Mrs. Rodgers' class and Miss Nagode's class all wrote small gestures of recognition on paper die-cut medical objects. All the small notes were assembled together in a collage to form one large message of appreciation to Nurse Jones! The students would like to thank you, Nurse Jones, for all you do to keep us healthy!

Counselor's Corner

What a year. We have all been through so much. Please take these next few months to tend to yourselves. Your bodies, minds, and spirits. Take a beat to just rest. Breathe. And celebrate the fact that you have completed another year. Whatever your grades were this year, just know that tomorrow is another day, and August will bring another year. It will be a time to start fresh, to reset any bad habits that might have formed, and to continue to educate yourself to the best of your ability. This year saw the responsibility of education go firmly back into the hands of the students. We all saw how difficult it was for some students to make this educational shift, we did see a number of students rise to the task of remote learning. While we are all looking forward to getting back to a normal 5-day schedule, I am pleased with the tools the students have secured in order to become even more independent and critical thinkers.
