Big picture

No school Monday, Jan. 18 in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

In Person Option Begins Feb. 1

We are moving ahead with plans for the in person option to start Feb. 1. We want to make school as safe as we can so students planning to come to in person school need to understand that we will have some strict expectations.

These include:

*Masks required at all times except when eating.

*Closed campus at lunch.

*No lingering in halls. No lockers.

*Building open to students each day at 9am. All students must exit building by 3pm each day.

*Students must adhere to the Daily Decision Tree.

If your student needs transportation, be sure to register for the bus.

If you did not do so already, complete this form so we know your student's plan in February.

Meal Distribution

Students who are e-learning, remote learning, enrolled in BEST and Chinook can pick up meals at any of our Distribution locations.

We have had a lot of questions regarding the middle and high school students. Customers can pick up meals for them until their return to school date.

For example: a middle school Student will be returning to in person school on 1/25/2021, meals can be picked up for them next week.

**If a student is physically attending a school building (in person), breakfast and lunch are provided and they cannot pick up meals.

Attendance Codes

Teachers are now marking attendance for every student every class. Attendance codes you will see in Powerschool include:

  • RP = Remote Present: teachers will mark this for students who attend their Google Meet/Zoom class.
  • AU = Absence Unexcused: Teachers will mark this when students do not show to their class. A parent can call front office to excuse an absence and code will be changed to AE.
  • IP = In Person Present: Once we start in person school this code will be used for students physically present in the classroom.

How do I excuse an absence?

A parent can call the front office to excuse an absence within 2 school days of that absence.
