Greetings Wildcat Families!
We are so excited to now have 519 of our Wildcats back in the building. Thank you to all our Wildcats families have chosen to send their students back in-person. Please consider coming back to in-person learning as students will be more successful if they are with their teachers in their classrooms. Students need to stay focused and stay current with their daily assignments. Please remind your student(s) to bring their iPad daily, fully charged. If you are interested in having your student attend our Next Level of Learning this summer please click on the link below. Mr. Dan Wilson, Assistant Principal ,will be our summer school principal. All students are welcome.
Friendly Reminders:
- We still cannot have any visitors in our school building due to Covid restrictions. Thank you for your support.
Planning:
- NSCAS State Science Testing this week. General testing calendar for NSAS and MAP is below.
- Friday, April 2nd, no school for students. This will be a teacher professional development day.
- Monday, April 12, we will kick off "Here comes the STEAM ENGINE" to our students.Please be looking for more information coming soon from KSTM.
- Tuesday, April 27, will be the National Junior Honor Society Induction ceremony in Microsoft Teams beginning at 6 PM.
- Tuesday, May 11, (tentative date) will be our virtual honors night for all grades beginning at 6 PM. More information to follow.

Spring Athletics
Spring sports have returned to KSTM!
Girls Soccer, Boys Soccer, and Boys/Girls Track season is up and running. Please make sure your student has the following items on file with the athletic office in order to participate:
1. Student must have no failing grades
2. An athletic physical dated AFTER May 1st, 2020 must be on file with the athletic office
3. Proof of insurance (a picture or scan will do), please send to christina.brekke@ops.org or daniel.wilson@ops.org.

Attention 7th & 8th Grade Students
The Nebraska State Treasurer’s Office has opened their annual “Why I Want to Go to College” writing contest scholarship. Twelve 7th & 8th grade students will receive $2,000, $1,000, or $500 in a college savings plan. Entries are due April 1. Please view the flier and link below for more details!
