Book Drive

Let’s help some local Girl Scouts with their Book Drive! FISD students Kaelyn Bannister, Maegan Kaderka, & Apurva Nair and working on their Silver Award through Girl Scouts. A Silver Award is the second service project award in a sequence of 3. It requires a sustainable project that helps the local community. Their group has decided to create a Lending Library for the Frisco Family Service Summer Lunch Program. This program reaches students and families in Frisco ISD along with others. They plan to provide books for the children at least once a week. Because this is a service project, they are looking for book donations. Books need to be targeted toward younger kids, and may be new or gently used.

If you are able to donate new or gently used books (geared toward younger children), please send them in with your child by May 20, or drop them off to Mrs. Howell.

Kaelyn, Maegan, & Apurva appreciate your support and help!

Parents,

We will need some help on Field Day May 20 the entire day. (8:15 a.m.-2:15 p.m.)

We are in need of lead parents for each classroom. We need one lead parent for each class. The lead parent will follow the responsibilities listed below.

Lead parent responsibilities:

3. At 8:15am on May 20th, you will go to the gym for a volunteer meeting.

4. Each assigned leader will be responsible for reading the directions for each event.
