Happenings on the Hill
MHBS 5-12 Communications/August 5, 2016
MHBS: 70 Years in the Making
2016-17 Theme: Deeper
Thus says the Lord, "Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, but let him who boasts boast in this: that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the Lord." Jeremiah 9:23-24 (ESV)
What's New in 2016-17?
- Did you see the first edition of "Panther Pause," a quick monthly video featuring a message from President Dexter Rutherford? See the August edition below.
- Matt Heupel has been named Campus Minister, and he will work with the administration and staff to be more intentional about spiritual matters on campus. We're excited to see the ways God will bless Matt's work.
- Welcome to head football coach Darrell Higgins, and welcome home to alumnus Ryan Moore, Vice President of Advancement. We know both of you will be assets to our students and school.
- Welcome to many new students who will be featured in upcoming editions of "Happenings on the Hill." We pray that Mars Hill quickly becomes your home.
