Basic Information About The Marine Biome

1. Location/ Distribution of the biome?

The location of the marine biome include the 5 main oceans. The five main oceans are the Pacific, the Atlantic, the Indian, the Arctic, and the Southern oceans as well as many smaller gulfs and bays. Marine Biomes are usually very salty.

2. Temperature Range (high and low)?

The climate in a marine biome can range from -40 degrees fahrenheit to over 100 degrees fahrenheit. The average temperature is 39 degrees fahrenheit. It is warmer near the equator.

3. Precipitation?
The weather in the marine biome is very harsh due to ocean currents. The currents create massive hurricans and typhoons. The also plays a large role in the biome. It creates large waves.
