Per the Student & Parent Handbook please refer to the following expectation for student cell phones/electronic devices (page 10). As a parent/guardian you have signed off on receiving our handbook and have agreed to follow all expectations.

Student cell phone and electronic devices (computers, tablets, cameras, watches, and other electronic devices that have the ability to take, store, display, or send images, videos, audio recordings or text message with embedded images) use is not permitted while on school property including bus transportation to/from school. If a student brings an electronic device to school, it must remain turned off and kept in their backpack. If a student needs to make a call home for a specific reason during the school day, phones are available in the front office.

For the month of January our staff will focus on teaching and reinforcing our expectation of being ready to learn. Students will understand what this means across all settings.

We will have our final class parties on Tuesday, February 14th. Our Home and School will be coordinating this event and we look forward to having volunteers in the building to lead the activities. Please keep the following in mind if you plan to send your child with valentines.

• Valentines must be provided for the entire class or none at all
• Valentines can not contain any type of edible item

Prior to break we offered a New Family mixer that was held virtually and in person simultaneously. We had 10 families join Beebe administration to learn more about the building and have their questions answered. For each family that participated in our mixer, we held a raffle to have a pizza lunch and recess with building administration.

Congratulations to Lysha from Ms. Nebor's Kindergarten classroom as she will be dining with administration in the upcoming weeks.

As a community we have been studying the work of the very talented Candice Fleming and Eric Rohmann. Students have been engaged reading a variety of books and families were invited to participate in a home project around our all school read aloud; Honeybee.

We invite you to watch a short video (link below) with an update to our program as well as a link to sign up to check out a family book bag filled with a variety of books by the dynamic duo. You will be able to keep the bag to read as a family for a two week period of time.
