Over 170 college admission representatives have visited La Salle either in person or virtually since September 14th.
Seniors have been working on college essays in English classes and most are now complete
Teacher and Counselor recommendations are being submitted to colleges to meet early deadlines
- Finalize the Common Application, Coalition, and college applications.
- If a student qualified for a College Board waiver, they may be eligible for fee waivers to apply to colleges.
- Early Action/Early Decision deadlines. Check each school's deadlines before applying.
- Contact your College Counselor if you have decided to apply Early Decision.
- Be aware of when admission decision release dates are for each college and update Naviance as they come in.
Fall College Checklist
As a gentle reminder, submit a Transcript Request Form for College Applications ONE month prior to an application deadline, to prevent a delay in your transcripts being sent.
Checking Application Status
Once you have submitted your college applications, please review how to check the status of your application below:
To help you keep track of your application and credentials, once you submit an application to a college/university, you will receive a confirmation email and a link to "check the status of your application." Please understand it can take a college/university up to 2-3 weeks to process your credentials that were sent electronically. When your college counselor and teacher submit their documents to colleges/universities on your behalf, it is electronically date stamped when it arrives. However, it can take up to 2-3 weeks for your application "status” change to "complete." Once your application is "complete" it will be reviewed for an admission decision. Please check with each specific college if it has a release date for admission decisions.
Finally, your College Counselor will send your first quarter grades to each college/university when they are available in mid-late November.
