ROE Kindergarten

Where the magic begins November 9-13

Cooler Weather

With cooler weather coming, students will be wearing jackets to school more often. Please make sure your child's name is written inside their jackets. Also, having extra clothes just in case of a spill or accident that are pants and not shorts might be a great idea.

Our outside time is at 8:45 AM, so please at least let your child bring a light jacket for the early morning play. THANKS.

What We Are Learning

ELAR - We will use text evidence to support an appropriate response, use illustrations and text to clarify word meaning, and make and confirm predictions

Math- We will count forward and backward up to 15 with and without objects, read, write and represent whole numbers from 0 to 15 with and without objects, and count a set of objects up to at least 15 and demonstrate that the last number said tells the number of objects in the set regardless of their arrangement or order.

Science - We will explore interactions with magnets and different materials and describe how things can move.

Social Studies- We will explain the reasons for national patriotic holidays such as Veteran’s Day.
