End of Grade Testing
Most students in grades 3-5 have finished End of Grade Testing. It was beautiful to talk with so many students and families at different testing sites last week. It was great to see students meet their teachers in person and even to watch some siblings say hi to their teachers at testing sites. There have been many positive reports about how students took their time on the tests.
There are still several sites that are testing this week. In addition, some staff will still be testing students throughout the instructional day. Please pay attention to your individual teachers messages about class meeting times and expectations this week.
Once provided to us by the state, individual Student Reports with EOG scores will be shared through the Parent Portal in PowerSchool. In addition, an email will be sent to families once the reports are ready.
Students have answered over 1.2 million questions and mastered over 22,000 skills this year in IXL!

Proposed Revised Elementary Engagement Tiers
For the 2023-2024 school year, live learning will be scheduled Monday through Thursday, with Friday as a scheduled day for projects, enrichment, and asynchronous learning activities. The student schedule at NCCA is built around a six-hour instructional day. The exact schedules of live learning will be specific for each child and similar to the schedules this year.
