Indiana Bicentennial Torch Run!

Ms. Baute Carries Bicentennial Torch!!

Our very own Fourth Grade Teacher, Ms. Baute, will be carrying the Bicentennial Torch this Sunday at 6:20PM. Her route is from the Columbus North HS tennis courts to just past Taco Bell on 25th street. Please come out and cheer her on! Ms. Baute's selection to be apart of this event is a great honor! Hope to see you Sunday!
Torch Route for Sunday!

Here is link to see the route the torch will take through Bartholomew County on Sunday evening between 5 - 8pm. Many people will line the streets to see it. Washington Street will likely be a popular location.

- Steps Through Time exhibit on Library Plaza – 2 to 8 pm

- Family-centered booths on 5th Street sidewalks -- 2 o 6 pm

- Food booths in Library parking lot -- 2 to 6 pm

- Indiana’s Bicentennial Experience (Mobile Visitors Center) on Lafayette Street – 4 to 8 pm

- Columbus City Band performance in front of First Christian Church – 4:30 to 5:15 pm

- Tim Grimm Family Band performance at Library Plaza – 6 to 7 p.m.

7 p.m. program – with Harry McCawley as emcee
- Torch arrives

- City proclamation
- Introduction of Bartholomew County’s Torchbearers
- DAR Children’s Choir performance
