Congratulations to the FHS Academic Excellence Finalists
Graduation Date Change
As we previously shared, Graduation for the class of 2021 will be held at American Family Field. This week, due to continuing safety protocols from Major League Baseball, American Family Field representatives informed us that our graduation ceremony has to be moved a day earlier to Saturday, June 19. Our time will remain at 5:00 PM. The specific safety protocol relates to the fact that their broadcasters were told they could not travel with the team and therefore, will be using the stadium as their broadcast point for the afternoon away game.
As we planned our graduation at American Family Field, we knew we would need to be somewhat flexible. Hopefully, this change is not too inconvenient. We continue to be very excited about our graduation ceremony this year and are looking forward to the in-person graduation ceremony.
We expect to have ticket information for American Family Field in the beginning of May.

Children Ages 16 Years and Up Eligible for COVID-19 Vaccine
Anyone 16 years of age and older is eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in the state of Wisconsin. At this time, students who are fully immunized, meaning that they are 14 days past receiving their last dose of a 2 shot series or their only dose of a single shot series, do not need to quarantine. There is currently no defined duration regarding how long a fully immunized individual will have the ability to waive the need to quarantine when exposed to someone who may be contagious with COVID-19. As a result, students engaging in the vaccine efforts may result in less time out of school, athletics, activities, work, celebrations, etc.
Children ages 16 and 17 are currently only eligible to receive the Pfizer vaccine, which can be challenging to locate. The Wisconsin Center (400 W Wisconsin Ave, Milwaukee) has Pfizer vaccine available from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Those ages 16-17 will need consent forms signed by a parent or guardian prior to vaccination. Registration may be done online here, or walk-ins are also being accepted at this location. The graphic below also provides these details.
If you have questions or concerns about the COVID-19 vaccine and would like to learn more, the Waukesha Health Department created a fact sheet that addresses some of the most commonly requested topics.

Spring Cleaning
As the days become longer and the sun a little warmer, we often think of Spring as a time to clear out and de-clutter our homes. This spring we challenge you to de-clutter your mind and take the time to do a little extra spring cleaning for your mental health.
