Thank You!!

Parents, you are amazing and we just want to say how much we appreciate you! Thank you for notifying us of symptoms, completing the health checks every morning, and even taking the students to get tested when needed. We are so grateful! Please continue completing the health checks every morning, and notifying us of any symptoms or exposures. Reminder: According to the Allegheny East Conference policy, students with any Covid related symptoms should remain home until we receive proof of a negative Covid-19 test result, or they will be asked to quarantine for 14 days. Teachers will work with you and your children to make up work that is missed due to illnesses.

MAP Testing-September 27

MAP Testing begins September 27! MAP testing is an adaptive, computer based test designed to assess what your student knows. Students will be assessed in three main areas: reading, language, and math. MAP assessments are given in the fall, winter, and spring. The information from the test results provides teachers with a comprehensive look at how our students learn, and how we can best support them this year. Students should expect to test for a few hours each day on their laptops. For more information, please visit the links below.

Tuition Payments

A reminder that tuition is due the 15th of each month. A late fee of $25 will be applied on September 21st. For now, all payments to the school should be made through CashApp ($Ejapay). Please make the necessary payments so that we can continue to provide for the needs of our school. For questions regarding tuition payments, please contact Mr. Paul. (

6th-8th Participating in Youth Prayer Challenge

On this coming Wednesday, September 22, Allegheny East Conference Youth and Children's Ministries will be spending 12 hours in prayer for our children, youth, and leaders. Each 1/2 hour will be focused on a different area of the ministry. Mr. Thomas and our 6th-8th graders have been invited to host the 2:30-3:00 time slot! The event will be streamed live on Facebook, Youtube, and the Allegheny East Conference website. Due to this event, the 6th-8th graders will be dismissed a bit later on Wednesday, around 3:15-3:30. We will update you if anything changes. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Thomas.

Conference Spelling Bee

The Allegheny East Conference Wide Annual Spelling Bee will be held on April 10. We will have our local school Spelling Bee on March 18th to determine which students will compete. Both of these dates are tentative, as we wait to see if the number of Covid cases go down by that time. For now, please use the attached spelling words to prepare for the big event!

Outdoor School for 6th-8th Graders (October 18-20)

The conference needs a final list of students who will be attending Outdoor School. If you haven't turned in the forms, or notified us that your child will be attending, we will assume they will not be attending. You may email the forms to, or send them into school with your child. Cash or check payments will be accepted. If you have any questions, or concerns, please contact us.

Virtual Learning

Students and teachers dived into virtual learning with our new Microsoft Teams accounts and laptops today! We appreciate your patience as we continue to adjust. Thank you for working with us to ensure that all students are online and present for virtual Fridays. If you ever have questions or issues with connecting, please don't hesitate to let us know, so we can assist you.

Lunch Reminders

Parents, we need your help! When possible, please send students to school with food that is ready to eat. We ask that students who choose to microwave food should limit their cook times to no longer than 3 minutes. Please remember that there is only one microwave per classroom, and longer cook times cause delays in our lunch schedule. Also, a reminder that all food sent to school needs to be vegetarian, as per our school policy.

Please remember to follow the uniform schedules as outlined below. If you have ordered uniforms, and are still waiting on them to arrive, please be sure to write your child's teacher a note so they can be excused.

Monday - Regular Uniform

Tuesday & Thursday - Gym Uniform

Wednesday - Full Dress Uniform

Friday - Dress Down Uniform
