Resources
http://www.kidsdiscover.com/blog/?tab=infographics
Whenever I open up Pinterest, there is a new infographic up. They're everywhere and on every topic. Did you know you could use them with your students as "informational text"? Infographics use many of the same features found in nonfiction texts (tables, graphs, diagrams, labels, etc.). They are small, not a book or a magazine, but a one page, short snapshot of a whole bunch of information packed neatly into a very small space. Kidsdiscover.com has several FREE resources including Infographics! Click on the picture to the right to view an infographic on the states of matter.
