Message from the Principal
Our entire staff is working hard to prepare for your arrival so that your school year is memorable, and filled with amazing learning opportunities. This communication will include important upcoming dates, as well as links to our website for specific areas of information that my be pertinent to you. At anytime throughout the school year, please do not hesitate to contact the office for any support or additional information you are in need of.

School Liaisons for 2018-19
New Vice-Principal
Carlie Ramotowski has been appointed Vice-Principal at Fleetwood-Bawden Elementary School, commencing the 2018-19 school year.
Ramotowski is passionate about fostering a strength-based school community that thrives on inclusion, innovation and collaboration, where the development of the whole child is nurtured. Her work as an educator is imbued with energy and enthusiasm with an unwavering focus on creating and maintaining positive relationships.
Ms. Ramotowski was the Learning Support Teacher at Fleetwood-Bawden Elementary School in 2016-17. Her background includes 14 years as a dynamic elementary educator, where she has served in a variety of roles and capacities including Learning Support Teacher, AISI Lead Teacher, Technology Committee Chair and Professional Development Chair.
She completed her Bachelor of Education at the University of Alberta. She earned her Master of Education with a focus on Leadership and School Improvement at the University of Alberta. As well, Ramotowski complete her Master of Counselling degree with Gonzaga University.
Ms. Ramatowski will start her role with us on Oct 1. In the interim, Sharon Willms-Laing will serve as Acting Vice-Principal.

Message from Alberta Health Services
To avoid waiting in line at public influenza clinics in Lethbridge, parents have the option to book appointments for their children aged 6 months up to and including 4 years of age.
This option is only available in Lethbridge.
When parents call to book the appointment for a child within this age range, they will also have the option of booking additional appointments so they and their other children can get their influenza immunizations at the same time.
Call the Lethbridge Public Health office at 403-388-6666 to book appointments. Please have your Alberta Health Care cards available. Indicate that you want to book appointments at the Lethbridge Public Influenza clinic.
