Serve United

A strategic organization of the ACTS Group

What are you doing to serve this summer?

What is it that you, your small group, your church or your organization are doing to serve others this summer? Summer is a great time to reach out to children and families with love and service. Serve United loves to share stories of what people like you are doing to serve in our community on our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter platforms. When you post your story on your favorite social media platform, use the hashtag #serveunited or tag us using our handle @serveunited. We will be choosing a story to share in this newsletter every other week beginning in July. All winners will receive a Service Swag Bag to bless the servers in their church or organization.

Storytelling about service elevates this Jesus value among all of us and inspires and encourages others to do the same! Looking forward to hearing stories of service from you!

Serving with you,

Megan McCleary

Every School Partnership: Summer is a great time to meet with your local principal

Is your church thinking about partnering with a local school? Summer is a great time to schedule a meeting with a local principal to hear about the needs of a school to see how your church can help meet some of the needs as described by your school principal. We suggest you go into a meeting with a principal with no agenda but two simple questions to ask: "What are your needs? How can we help?" Looking for more insights about starting a school partnership? Watch the video below to hear Life Community Church's Outreach Director, Donna Trumbo, talk about the ABC's of School Partnership.
