Welcome to our new Treasurer, Dr. Stacy Hallgren
Stacy Hallgren is a native of North Dakota where she grew up on a horse ranch near Grand Forks. Her love of horses eventually led her to pursue chiropractic as a calling after a life-threating horse accident left her with limitations that only resolved after finally seeing a chiropractor. She attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA, where she graduated in 2007. Upon graduation, Dr. Hallgren returned home to North Dakota and soon after that started Performance Chiropractic in Grand Forks, where she practices with her husband who is also a chiropractor.
Dr. Hallgren has focused her career on advancing the health of mothers and children in her community. She continues to learn more about how she can best meet the unique needs of moms and kids using her skills as a chiropractor. She is an active member in the chiropractic profession and her community as a member of the ND Chiropractic Association, the ICPA, and the American Chiropractic Association. She also provides support and promotion to the local and state breastfeeding coalitions. She is the president of her church council, a member of her local Lions Club, and a past member of the school board.
As the mother of four active children with varied interests, Dr. Hallgren loves spending time with her family. She is also an animal lover, so she feels most at home on their hobby ranch where she can ride horses and enjoy the outdoors walking her dogs"
Welcome to our returning Vice President, Dr. Jennifer Murphy
Dr. Murphy is 1995 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. She began her private practice opening her office, Pink Hill Chiropractic, on August 19th, 1996. In 2002, Dr. Murphy received her Pediatric Diplomate (DICCP) from Palmer College and the International Chiropractic Association’s Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics by completing three years of postgraduate coursework, research projects and multiple examination including a national board exam. Dr. Murphy felt a strong need to educate other chiropractors and the public about the benefits of pediatric chiropractic care so she started the NCCA Pediatric Council. She also continued to develop her skills in advanced pediatric chiropractic by publishing articles in various journal publications including JCCP and lecturing across the country.
Dr. Murphy is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Vice_President of the ACA Pediatric Council, the ICA Pediatric Council, The Christian Chiropractic Association, and the North Carolina Chiropractic Association. In 2011, Dr. Murphy was named Lenoir County’s top 20 under 40 for achievement in professional and personal activities and in 2012 earned the North Carolina Chiropractic Association’s Dr. Faye B. Eagles Woman of Chiropractic Award.
Married with one son, Dr. Murphy also has a small pesticide-free hobby farm which was featured on PBS’s show A Chef’s Life in fall 2016."
