Grade Updates

At each Assignment Due date, grades are updated by the teacher. Zeros are entered for any missing assignments from the student's schedule. Students and parents should view grades and notify the teacher of any issues. Students are encouraged to turn in missing work for partial credit according to GaVS late policy (click image to see closely.)

*If you submit work late, zeros are entered and will be updated as assignments are graded.

You will receive a course update email from me every two weeks, immediately after an Assignment Due Date.

Please read through the newsletter for helpful information.

A note on extra credit

Extra credit is not a grade replacement, but an opportunity to add extra points to your existing score. Please make sure you are completing assigned work on time, so that extra credit can benefit your grades!!

A Note About Accommodations

Many students receive accommodations through GaVS. Please note that these newsletters (and grade update emails) go to all students. Likewise, failing phone calls go out to all students, regardless of accommodations. If you have a due date extension due to accommodations, zeros are entered and your grade replaces the zero when the work is submitted.
