SURVEY REMINDER - THANK YOU
I sent this our two week ago. If you completed it already, THANK YOU. If you did not complete it yet you still have time.
In an effort to improve system practices, Royal Oak Schools is conducting a parent survey. We value your opinion and ask that you take the time to complete the survey. In order to complete the survey, please go to:
http://www.advanc-ed.org/survey/public/8596669
Please be assured that your responses to this survey will be anonymous. Your honest opinion is appreciated. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. Please complete a survey for each one of the schools that your children attend before March 31, 2015.
Thank you.
March is Reading Month
Keep reading at home!
March is Reading Month! Arrrrgh! Open a book and find a treasure! The media center has turned into a Pirate's Cove, and our "bookaneers" will celebrate reading all month long. Please look through reading information that comes home with students. The class with the most minutes will display the reading trophy for their grade level. "Yo ho, yo ho, reading is right for me!"
Keep turning in your reading tickets!
PBIS Focus
The focus for the next two weeks will be: Arrival/Departure
*Wait at your assigned entrance.
*Follow school rules (ex: hands to self)
*Use appropriate and positive language.
*Always follow adult directions.
*Follow safety and service squad instructions.
*Voice level: outside 3, inside 1
*Help students in need.
*Stay on the sidewalk.
*Know and follow your after school plan.
As a reminder: students are not allowed on the playground at arrival or departure unless with their parent or guardian.
Please review with your children. Thank you.
Head Lice
Please notify the school if your child has head lice. This assists us with lice checks and monitoring.
Please continue to check for head lice. If you need assistance or have a question contact Donna Judd or Angela Ashburn.
If your child has head lice it is helpful if you contact anyone who had direct contact so they can check their child.
Thank you for your assistance.
